Hi there,
So far this week, you’ve named what you’re carrying forward and what’s worth keeping, even if the experiment itself changes.
Today, we make that practical.
Because one of the fastest ways a reset loses momentum is when success is vague or far away.
Week 3: Looking forward
This week is about turning what you’ve learned into something you can carry forward. Not by doing more. By getting clearer.
Week 3, Day 3: How you’ll know this is working
If this reset is helping, how will you know in the short term?
Not at the end of the quarter or after everything settles down. Soon enough that you can course-correct.
These are signals, not metrics.
They might show up as:
how you feel at the end of the day
how often you pause before reacting
how much energy you have left for thinking
how decisions start to feel lighter or clearer
You’re defining what “better” feels like before the novelty wears off.
My example
If this reset is working for me, I’ll know within a couple of weeks.
I’ll end more days with some mental energy left, feel less rushed moving between commitments, and notice fewer moments where I’m reacting just because I’m available.
That’s enough signal to keep going or adjust.
How to complete today’s prompt
Write down 2–3 signals that would tell you this reset is helping.
They don’t need to be perfect. They just need to be noticeable.
Tomorrow, we’ll look at what could get in the way of this reset and how you’ll respond when it does.
Onward,
Kelly
